Vintage Early 1960s Fender Model 400 8 String 6 Pedal Steel Guitar w levers
This auction is for a vintage Sho Bud Maverick pedal steel guitar. Instrument is in good used condition with only a few small nicks on the body, both labels on the front have slight blemishes. All three pedals and knee lever function properly. The Maverick was designed as a beginner level pedal steel capable of performing most of the Nashville pedal steel sounds. The three pedals are used for standard E9 changes and the knee lever drops the 2nd and 8th strings 1/2 tone. The serial number on the interior label is faded beyond reading, but records from the store indicate that this instrument was sold in the mid 70's. Included in this auction are all the extras you need to be ready to play: steel bullet slide, finger and thumb picks, D'Armond volume pedal, Fender spiral patch cable, Original Sho Bud instruction book, and instruction record. Also included is a vintage set of strings originally sold with this instrument. The current set of strings on the instrument have been tuned and held tune for several days. The case included with this item is in excellent condition and holds all the items except the record. This is a great vintage instrument that has been played very little. Item sold as is. Shipping will be actual UPS ground + $5.00 handling.
